Did you put the plugins into the plugins folder? If you did Amibroker should warn you at startup about third party plugins.

Yes this AFL is very beautiful and colourful indeed. But whats the use? When it is not able to pin point buy and sell signals.

To Install this indicator

1)Extract the Foundation-Int.rar and save it in your local hard drive

2)Copy JurikLib.dll and kpami.dll and paste it in your Amibroker Plugin folder which is by default C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\Plugins

3)Copy T3_include.afl to the AFL formula-include folder which is by default C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\Formulas\Include

4)Copy The Foundation v13.00.afl and paste it in AFL formula-custom folder C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\Formulas\Custom

5)Now to view the charts Open Amibroker and goto File→New→New Chart

6)then goto View→Charts and select the afl from the left plane under the Custom folder

7)Then set the background to black. To do so goto Tools→Preference and select the color tab and set the background color to Black

Its all done now the colourful AFL is ready!

Foundation v13.00.afl is not there in rar archeive

you can change the chart color as well:
SetChartBkColor(colorBlack);

Your version of Amibroker is simply outdated and doesn’t have the new features.

When I load this formula I have the following performance:

Load Factor: 1104%
Total chart refresh time: 2275ms

And I really have a fast computer, but I’m running AmiBroker under Linux, so I don’t know if everything works fine…

One other question in general:
How is the Load Factor and Total chart refresh time calculated? Does it just depend on the actual loaded chart cheet or are all chart cheets “redrawn” in the background?

Hi everyone,

To install the AFL properly, you have to:

1- Copy the two dll files (JurikLib.dll & kpami.dll) into into the Plug-ins folder (C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\Plugins)

2- Copy (T3_include.afl) into the Include folder (C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\Formulas\Include)

3- Copy (The Foundation v13.00.afl) into the Formulas folder (C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\Formulas\Custom)

4- Start AmiBroker, click charts tab, navigate & insert (The Foundation v13.00.afl) from the formula/custom folder

Note to Admin:
Both download links don’t contain (The Foundation v13.00.afl).

How do you know it is not using future values,
bactesting result are too good too be true.

The real formulas are in dll’s, so they are hidden.

i think recent amibroker upgrades have altered the formula coz mine used to work before now error 61. the number of formatspecifier(s) (%) does not match the number of arguments passed,,,,,,,,,,
